Finally

Finally, after two years of  planning,  the day of departure is here. We should have an  uneventful drive to Dallas/Ft. Worth through Houston, then we will spend the weekend in  Arlington with Ryan, Christy and the grandkids.

Welcome to our first blog post. The 5 of us (Betty and I plus our 3 four legged travelers) are scheduled to depart 8:00 AM Friday, May 31st for our 101 day, 15,000 mile round trip summer vacation to Alaska. We will be joining a group of 11 more RVs in Canada to be escorted through Alaska on a guided tour with plenty of free time to wander on our own. Hopefully, we will get regular postings out to you with photos along the way. We will also have access to email and our phones.
Our northbound leg will include Yellowstone and then into Canada on our way to Alaska, returning back through Canada, Washington, northern  California, Colorado, New Mexico and then pedal to the metal back home.
