All Good Things....

After 34 days and 3,600 miles with Alaska RV tours, we have started our slow journey home. It was hard to leave our new family, but all good things must come to an end. We are taking away some wonderful memories as well as new friends, many that we will continue to see. I don't think either of us expected that bonus.

We are spending two nights in Anchorage before turning the RV toward British Columbia, back tracking for a bit and then working our way south. The plan is to take our time, visiting friends along the way in Washington and Colorado, ending up in Cloudcroft, New Mexico for Labor Day.

We weren't completely convinced that taking an RV tour was the way to go. We were afraid it would be too structured, too cheesy and touristy. That has not been the case at all. We have enjoyed every minute of this adventure...the people, the tours, the sights and scenery of British Columbia and Alaska, and the knowledge our wagonmaster brought to us. He and his team lead us on an adventure of a lifetime!

Thanks, Spike!
Stay tuned...we will continue to blog as we journey home to Texas!
