Traveled through South Dakota today. Miles and miles and miles of beautiful rolling plains. Very green. Finally got to Mt. Rushmore and did a drive by, then on to the Crazy Horse Monument, still in progress. Not that much to see there but his head and the general outline of the horse and rest of the monument. But it's still amazing!
We are camped just outside of Custer and will head to Yellowstone in the morning.
Lesson  on the road today: if one of the dogs (in this case, Maggie) acts more anxious that usual and paces the RV, stop...ASAP. I was especially proud of Butch for not running the RV off the road when she finally exploded.
